From 9 to 11 June 2026, ColorLite will be exhibiting at KUTENO in Bad Salzuflen. KUTENO is regarded as an important supplier trade fair for the plastics processing industry, bringing together trade visitors, decision-makers and technology providers from a wide range of sectors within the plastics industry. The trade fair focuses on practical solutions relating to materials, processes, digitalisation and sustainable production.
Colour measurement technology for a wide range of requirements in the plastics industry

ColorLite develops colour measurement solutions for a wide range of sectors within the plastics industry. These include masterbatch manufacturers, compounders, recyclers, extrusion companies, injection moulders, film manufacturers, machine builders and manufacturers of technical plastic parts.
Depending on the application, different colour measurement solutions are used. ColorLite offers portable spectrophotometers for measurements directly at the machine or for on-site inspections, stationary colour measurement systems for laboratory applications, as well as systems for real-time colour control during the ongoing production process.
This allows a wide range of requirements in the plastics industry to be covered flexibly – adapted to the material, surface, production environment and inspection task.

Technical presentation by David Pryor on the Blue Stage
A special highlight of our trade fair appearance is the technical presentation by company founder and owner David Pryor on 11 June 2026 on the Blue Stage, as part of the SKZ presentation slot “Digitalisation and Sustainability”.
The presentation is entitled: “Real-time colour measurement of plastic granulates: how digital processes reduce waste and ensure quality sustainably”
The focus will be on a portable, process-oriented solution for inline colour measurement of plastic granulates. A practical measurement setup will be presented, enabling flexible quality control directly within the production process – without the traditional detour via the laboratory.

The results presented show a high level of agreement with established laboratory methods and clearly demonstrate that modern portable colour measurement can now be used reliably in industrial applications.
Of particular relevance to the plastics industry: due to its close proximity to the production process, response times can be significantly reduced and waste minimised. At the same time, digital colour control processes make an important contribution to more sustainable production workflows.
