Description
In the colour studio, spectacle lenses and optical filters need to be checked quickly, reliably and reproducibly.
Precise measurement results are not the only priority. Easy handling, clearly readable results and a practical solution for everyday use are equally important.
The ColorCube oph100 was developed specifically for these requirements. The spectrophotometer enables precise spectral transmittance measurement of spectacle lenses and optical filters across the range from 380 to 700 nm. Samples can be positioned quickly, measurement results are displayed clearly and can be documented for quality control.
In this way, the ColorCube oph100 supports efficient workflows in the colour studio and in spectacle lens production, providing objective measurement results, high operating comfort and a reliable basis for the assessment and documentation of transmittance.
Included in the scope of delivery:

Developed from practical experience, for practical use
The ColorCube oph100 was developed in close collaboration with Ophthalmica Brillengläser. The family-run manufacturer based in Rathenow has been producing customised spectacle lenses since 1992 – from single-vision and progressive lenses to specialist filter lenses. Tinting and finishing are also carried out in Germany.
The collaboration began with specific requirements from the production and quality control of tinted plastic lenses. Ophthalmica’s many years of experience in spectacle lens manufacturing and tinting were combined with ColorLite’s expertise in measurement technology. The result is a solution specifically tailored to the workflows of optical laboratories and colour studios.
