Demonstrating Versatility in Practice
The ColorLite sph900 is one of the most versatile portable spectrophotometers in the ColorLite product portfolio. Thanks to its interchangeable probe heads, adapter solutions and measurement geometries, the system can be adapted to a wide range of materials and colour measurement tasks – from plastics and textiles to powders, granulates and liquids.
Our new product video showcases exactly this versatility. Rather than focusing solely on technical specifications, it demonstrates typical applications and provides a practical insight into how flexibly the sph900 can be used in everyday industrial environments.
Why a Product Video?
Many of a measurement system’s capabilities are easier to understand through moving images than from a brochure or data sheet alone. How are the different probe heads used? Which measurement geometry is best suited for a particular surface? And how easily can the instrument be adapted to different applications?
Our new product video answers these questions through practical examples and provides a concise overview of the ColorLite sph900’s capabilities.
Filming at ColorLite in Elvershausen

Filming took place at our headquarters in Elvershausen, Germany. To bring the project to life, we worked together with Sönke Westphal from Filmschmiede Göttingen, who was responsible for the cinematography, lighting, editing, animation and post-production.
Together, we created product shots, close-up views of the different probe heads and a variety of application scenes. With his eye for visual storytelling and technical detail, Sönke succeeded in presenting the versatility and engineering quality of the ColorLite sph900 in a clear and engaging way.
Alongside the filming itself, we captured several behind-the-scenes moments, giving a glimpse into the production process.
Another Step in Our Technical Communication

With this new product video, we are expanding our range of technical communication. Many aspects of colour measurement can be explained more effectively through video, complementing product pages, data sheets and operating manuals.
Whenever appropriate, we intend to use this format again to provide further practical insights into industrial colour measurement and the applications of our measurement systems.
